I have cold sores on my lips and this product did well to numb the stingy pain.

my situation was that I couldnt disenfect my sore or put medicated chapstick on it b/c it was SO painful. When my lips would dry and I’d either talk, smile or yawn, the sore would split open more and that was MORE PAINFUL then the price for a tiny bottle. It wasn’t healing anytime soon and reluctantly I bought it for the crazy price*plus abreva was sold out :( * I have had the product for more then 4 days, 7 at the max, but that was b/c I lost the tiny bottle. So technically, I’ve only used it for 3 days and so far its helping my lips. It just numbs and kinda cools them down. I can put cream on them with out the sores hurting. So it does take awhile for coldsores to go away and so far, I’m kinda pleased with it.

I’m on this med the 4th day now, and it’s still there painfully. Aveeno Cold sore treatment works really well, but I can’t find it anywhere now!!! Abreva on the other hand is such a so so product & cost a fortune! $20 for a tiny tube, goodness, are they nuts ?
